Relationships Matter

Thank you to everyone who made it out to "Relationships Matter: Understanding nurturing relationships and attachment as fundamental building blocks of infant and early childhood mental health," on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Harmony Library Community Room. This presentation provided tools for how to engage with caregivers and colleagues in order to strengthen connections and better support each other in our shared goal of supporting young children. Attendees participated in a reflection activity, for which they were tasked with "re-framing" a challenging situation by identifying the "noble intent" of the other party. A highlight of the event was when participants received a "love mark" (temporary tattoo) as a reminder of the support they received at the training.
