Back to Basics with "I-ECMH 101"

Leap's Community Conversation on "Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health 101" was our largest to date with over 130 registered guests. Abbey Schneider led the 2 hour presentation covering the basics of early childhood mental health best practices and common interventions. A supporting team of experts also presented on various community resources available in Larimer County, including information on obtaining the Infant Mental Health Endorsement, Early Intervention services, play therapy, pregnancy-related mood disorders, mental health consultation services, referral support and more. Abbey and the team touched on a number of topics that Leap will further explore in the following months. Check our events page often for updated info about upcoming trainings, and save the date to learn more about these topics:

Nurturing Relationships and Attachment (March 2019)

DC: 0-5 training for mental health therapists (March 2019)

Pregnancy-related mood disorders (April 2019) Reflective supervision training (April 2019)

The power of play (May 2019)

Thank you to Timberline Church for donating the venue space for this event, and thank you to our volunteer presentation team and event helpers. We appreciate your contributions!
