Reflective Supervision, 2-day training, 4/10-4/11
Time & Location
About The Event
Reflective supervision is a practice that provides support through active listening and guidance to encourage staff to think about their own actions, consider other perspectives, and modify behaviors through a process of continuous learning. Using these techniques, especially for staff in high stress positions, can improve program quality, strengthen practice, and prevent professional burnout.
Sheryl Heller, Ph.D., Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Tulane University, will lead this two day training targeted at supervisors of frontline workers from multiple sectors, including early intervention, protective services, childcare, home visitation, and family service workers.
The training includes six months of additional phone consultation follow-up with the trainer to support implementation of these practices.
Two day training:
Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11
8:00am-5:00pm each day
Light snacks and lunch will be provided each day
