Learning from Diverse Larimer Families: Perspectives on our early childhood services
Time & Location
About The Event
As service providers, we strive to “meet patients and families where they are.” This phrase is an acknowledgement that the families we work with come in all different shapes and sizes, with unique cultural traditions, family dynamics, communications styles, lifestyle preferences, limitations and capabilities. In order to build a more inclusive and responsive community, the Leap Coalition of Larimer County invites you to join us for an evening of learning from local families about their diverse experiences with navigating our early childhood services. Panelists will provide insights from many different perspectives including nontraditional family structures, ethnicity, gender identity, language barriers, religious beliefs and more. Panelists will discuss what worked, what didn’t and what they want providers to know. We hope to see you there!
Facilitated by Jess Fear, Behavioral Health Strategy and Implementation Manager from the Community Impact Team at the Health District of Northern Larimer County
