As professionals who work with young children are becoming more aware of the importance of early brain development and its impact on lifelong outcomes, the term “infant and early childhood mental health” is becoming more common. However, confusion remains about what exactly is meant by “infant mental health.” In an effort to build a common framework for understanding, we invite you to join us for Leap’s next Community Conversation, “Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health 101,” in which community experts will present on the basic tenets of infant and early childhood mental health common practices, misconceptions, cultural biases and interventions. We hope to see you there!
